How it works?

  1. Enroll and complete your Developer Certification program by March 29th, 2021
  2. Select one of the sample use cases provided for this challenge by April 4th, 2021
  3. Build and submit a Symphony Bot that addresses this use case by April 30th, 2021
  4. Finalists will be announced on May 7th, 2021
  5. Pitch your bot solution to a panel of industry experts on May 14th, 2021

Who can participate?

To qualify you should be currently enrolled in a valid U.S. college or university, and register for the challenge with your valid university email address.

  • Students can form teams up to three people or compete as individuals
  • Only full-time students are eligible
  • All full-time students may participate, but only juniors and seniors will be eligible for internships or interviews*

How will submissions be judged?

Each project will be graded on the following criteria:

  • Relevance - Did this bot address the use case precisely?
  • Feasibility - How likely is this that this bot will be used today?
  • Usability - How seamless is the user experience?
  • Technical Implementation - How well were different technologies combined to build the bot solution?
  • Innovation & Creativity - How disruptive is the solution compared to current solutions available?
  • Optimization - How well did the bot solution optimize a given process or workflow?
  • Clarity - How clearly did the presentation outline the proposed solution?
  • Quality - Is the source code and documentation of high quality?
